Super Mario English Game - For PowerPoint 2010 and Newer - Release 3
-- Download from Google Drive --

This is both a restructuring and update to my previous Super Mario English Game from a few years ago. The changes implemented make the game simpler and faster to play. Additionally, the scoreboard slides have been simplified to make them easier for the teacher to use, specific prizes can be assigned to a question, and there is the option for prizes to be randomly assigned to questions.

Updates
  • Students are no longer able to choose between three blocks.
  • They are given a single block with a prize inside, making it faster to play.
  • Ability to choose specific prizes for questions.
  • Ability to randomly choose prizes.
  • Simplified Scoreboard Slides

Very fun! Thanks for your hard work.

Encountered an issue with the pipes ... Mario went down a green pipe and then the slide returned to the original question. Each time he went down a pipe it repeated this behavior.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the heads up on the issues with the pipe slides. You can download corrected files using both the Waygook and Google Drive download links.

Looks great. Your other games are classics. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of them. Thanks!

Sure! You have two options:

1) For this new version you can make the game using PPT2007, then play it using PowerPoint Viewer. I recommend doing that because this version of the game is much quicker to play through and has many better features.

2) There is an older version I made specifically to work with 2007 here. This version doesn't include the updates to the game that this version has. You can't choose the prizes for the questions or set them to be random. Since groups have to agree to which block to choose, games usually take much longer as well. Additionally the scoreboard isn't as simple as the new one I made.
