i did a lesson with this song a while back too. was a great time filler, tho i had a couple students say the song was too long. i had them list off what they say in the song they will buy before they came up with what they would buy.

Thanks for this lesson! I used it with my middle school and it worked well. What i did with the lesson was I printed out lyrics and put a blank for the things they say they'd buy in the song. I played it a few times and students filled in the blanks. Then i went through the rest of your ppt and then i asked the students to write down 10 things they would like to buy with 1 000 000 (beck man) dollars.

Thanks for posting this lesson and for posting the video here! For some reason, the school filter wouldn't let me use the Youtube site directly, but I was able to still show the class the video as it was embedded here.

I did this as a lesson for my advanced Gr 2's and modified for a teacher's workshop. I'll attach my worksheets modified from the cloze worksheet posted here originally.
